Rotor film-type evaporators are used in various chemical-engineering processes: distillation, concentration, evaporation, skimming, deodorization, degassing and others at the operating temperature of the product’s vapors from 263K (– 10 °C) to 523K (250ºC) and at a pressure in the apparatus from 0,0007 MPa (5 mm Hg) to 0.6 MPa (6 kgf/cm 2) at a heat carrier’s temperature from 283K (10ºС) to 573К (300ºС) and a pressure to 1,6 MPa (16 kgf/cm2).
Rotor film-type evaporators are manufactured with:
- single-stage heat exchange surface in 1,6 m2; 2 m2; 4 m2; 6,3 m2; 12,5 m2; 16 m2; 20 m2; diameter of apparatus - 300; 600; 800; 1000,
- multistage heat exchange surface in 0,8 m2; 1,6 m2; 2 m2; 6,3 m2; 8 m2; 12,5 m2; 16 m2; 20m2 with diameters 200/160; 300/200; 400/300; 600/400; 800/600; 800/600/400; 1000/800/600.
